December 12 Block

Today is my birthday.  It's also the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  When I was 16 years old, the family I was staying with in Mexico took me to the old Basilica to see the actual image on Juan Diego's centuries old tilma.  It was one of the most meaningful experience of my life to see the depth of faith exhibited by the pilgrims there.  Needless to say, the image of Guadalupe has a lot of meaning for me.  My friend JK and her wonderful partner gave me this fabric a couple of years ago.  It's perfect for today's block....
