January 1 Blocks

These are "raw" blocks that I'm posting.  Being a bead artist by practice and inclination (www.beadedicons.com) these blocks will inevitably have beads sewn onto them.  I seem incapable of not beading things, so why fight it?  I will post pictures of the blocks again as they are "finished".

The first block is a spiral for the spiral of time that is the New Year.  The second block is because the Wisconsin Badgers played in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.  While I am not a football fan and have never been to a game, I do work at the University so it felt appropriate to commemorate the game.  Alas, they lost....  Mary
