Being a cradle Catholic of a certain age, I have very fond memories of holy cards.  I use them in my art all the time (www.beadedicons.com).  This is image is "Our Lady of Perpetual Help".  It's so lovely and so traditional, and yet Mary is such a strong and courageous woman in the face of culture and tradition....
